Is it your intention that after you have decided that a Stop Loss is necessary, and have executed it, that you want to "fiddle" with your AIM parameters to make it reflect what you have done????

Kind of. I'm not sure 'fiddle' it quite the idea. Rather, I want to derive a consistent, mathematical way of doing it. But yes; I need to adjust AIM's internals such that the the conversion of actual to virtual shares as a result of the stop loss sale puts the system back 'in balance'.

See Clive's response with respect to some ratio approach. That seems to have merit on its surface.
