Rogue,

I looked into many REITS most of them have a large amount of debt in the books ANH no debt....the dividend yield (even if it declines to 1$-0.85 per share with the recent interest rates..looks attractive enough to hold in this market & the bookvalue is another attractive fact to prevent huge sell offs >20% assuming the fundamental business isn’t in jeopardy which isn't the case for ANH.. no matter how the shares perform, i consider this one as a fairly safe investment if I evaluate the last three years of operating results..
Institutionals bought 1.380 000 shares in the last quarter..

Look I'm no super-expert in these type of investments..so..any other help could be usefull..but I can't see this company falling from a cliff at this stage...not if the outlook is > 5 years...chance losing money in other stocks are bigger I think...and meantime I collect my divvies year after year..

2% of my portfolio is now invested in ANH if the stock declines with another 15% if that would happen which I fairly doubt..I would double that stake again..

and the bookvalue per share is $ 10.3 not $ 10.9 per share as I posted in my previous post about this stock...

I've been looking to a whole shitload of companies only a few were worth to mention..NHA, GMK & DER bought shares in all those three
