I called the customer service line on Wed and was assured by a young man named Luis that the 1000 was indeed Mac compatible. I asked why is did not say so on the just revised website. H checked and said that was a surprise to him but that he would talk to Walter when he got back from lunch. I spoke to Walter later in the day and he was equally vague other than to state the website was correct.
