Coastwind, in my opinion, it would have been better for him to wait a few hours and then respond to my email rather than directly answer my question about Rainbolt still being there with "everything is status quo" when in fact Rainbolt had resigned a week before. I am not saying he should have told me before it was public that Rainbolt had resigned. I AM saying he should not have told me that everything was status quo in that situation. There is a big difference, and he could have kept a tight lid on the info without lying.
Again, I had no idea that a resignation by Rainbolt was even a possibility when I asked it, but still the answer was as direct as the question, and it was certainly no where near true. The possibility that Gary did not know is still there...I just find it difficult to believe. I did ask him when he found out about the resignation in an email back on Friday evening. Maybe he will respond and clear things up this week...it is the weekend after all. If I end up getting an explanation from him that exonerates him, I am definitely man enough to share it publicly here and retract my opinion.
