THEY may have finally gotten rid of the reason behind late filing, fired accounting firm, HIRED NEW ACCREDITED FIRM, they are trying to right old companies WRONGS

Exactly nothing, as to both of you about that, it's just your opinions, and to the bottom line of a company, means absolutely nothing.

As far as I'm concerned, I'd rather they got it right, than wrong.

Wouldn't you also feel the same, that correctness is better than expediency ?
