OK now I see.The top half tucks into the bottom half so yes I see that there is not very much deadspace,really.Once they get enough of the kits out there owned,then they should have an easier time selling refill bottles through retailers as they don't take up much space at all.I know their business model is based on "free ink for life" but I am not going to object to buying bottles of ink from a retailer instead of paying for shipping and handling and waiting for delivery.
