I think its nothing more than political grandstanding. It makes money, as well see next week, because the biggest housing crisis ever to hit earth, we are suddenly not so fond of it. As the politicians look for any body to hang it on, they will soon change their tune. Just wait, soon you hear how the American tax payer could make some $ back, and how it a great organization helps people get loans, keep interest down, etc, blah, It is here to stay.
