If "PetroAmerica" were on trial and the government officials truly found all of the wrong doings with the company that some claim, The last paragraph of your post would be true. Plain and simple. That has not happened. So I'll let you draw your own conclusion from the fact.

I'm seriously confused about how they can move forward with the pending case. I am honestly asking with no sarcasm, how can this be?

The people under indictment are not Petro and Petro is not the people under the indictment.

Two separate items.

A corporation is a corporation, an entity,
People are not the corporation - they are people

Owen is not Petro and Petro is not Owen

The case is not against Petro it is against Owen, et al
