No - quite the contrary - the contracts do not allow shorting.
In all the contract disputes that I have read (admittedly not all and not every word) NIR has been accused of shorting shares. If they do it hasn't been proved.

I agree with pd that if there is indeed shorting, it is done by a third party and that entity would have to come forward in order to make the charge stick.

Personal opinion? I don't know if they do or not.

It appears in the notes I've seen X.

I haven't seen the HLNT notes. Two interestin scenarios though. If it's not in their notes it was left out for a reason. Put together Ribotshy, Gelmom, Humphries, Epstein and Robinson and you can figure out the reason. On the other hand if it is in the HLNT notes and Humphries exposes the shortin scheme HLNT and every other NIR funded company would have a field day wit NIR. Therein lies my recomendation that Humphries spills it all, and I meean ALL or gets 10 t0 20. The man is in a unique position right now. Different from what I've seen in the past. Much more far reaching.
