#2751 RE: Elmer Phud #2750

Elmer, Sanders has always been below the radar. Look what he did last year when he sold his AMD shares right before the company reported a crash in earnings. I would have thought he'd be slapped with a lawsuit by now, but he continues to step in brown stuff and end up smelling like a rose. And his Microsoft testimony, too: obvious sycophantic drivel aimed at getting Bill Gates to ok a port to x86-64. Sanders basically pulled a Monica Lewinski on Bill (sic)! And yet he continues to live the high life in Bel Air with his limos and mansions.

Interesting character.

True. You don't know if he knows something or is just trading on technical analysis or something else.
Since he is an insider one might assume he "knows" something. This, however, could be completely false assumption.

He may just hold his 300,000 shares until January and then dump it.

Elmer,

re: What is the definition of insider trading?... How does Sanders get away with this?

Wish I knew more, I don't. If AMD ever goes belly up, then I suppose the witch hunt would start, and Jerry might be under some pressure.
