I agree with you 100%.

I think we would all be disappointed if we put in as much work as DA did getting everything to this point and people don't think it is enough in their mind and just sell out.
I don't imagine many people on this board could design a 70 piece private label clothing line in a few months and have it shipping to the store as we speak. that is pretty amazing in it self.. plus running the store and opening a 2nd one!

I see your point. However, If the company doesn't want short-term traders to control the stock price, why help to create an environment of speculation the way he did raise expectations rather than just releasing straightforward facts? I cannot bring together what is said in this quote with what has happened over the past few days.

edit: who is an "abuser" of the stock? People who sell in order to protect their investment when there is sudden supply?

I would much rather have a CEO that could learn about making good PR's that provoke buying.
We have one store! One!
No date for a 2nd one. We are close enough that he sould have been able to tell us. As far as I am concerend, he had a big poster made and paid someone to put it up on the window while someone else was getting ready to move into the place.
If he was so concerend about shareholders and not about the day traders, then he should have not put something out like he did that caused it. That was his issue, not ours. He can get as upset as he wants. But everytime he makes it seem like something big is coming, it's a let down and the PPS drops. Again! That's his problem to correct as a CEO.
He should have just put the info out in the first PR. Then he would not have gotten the results that he did.
We did not do it, he did.
If he wants to point a finger, he has 3 pointing back at himself. You know! The Buck Stops Here Theory!
