Indeed, should keep them! HP presents TouchPad, a rival for iPad
(HPQ) on Wednesday took the wraps off its TouchPad, a 10-inch tablet that is the first fruit of its $1.2 billion acquisition of Palm last year.

The 1.6-pound, 9.7-inch touch-screen device comes with a webcamera and virtual keyboard and is powered by the WebOS operating system. HP is positioning the device, which looks like an iPad, as a rival to the iPad and Android tablets. The TouchPad is expected to be available sometime in the summer. The price was not disclosed.

The new Apple (AAPL) iPad, reportedly on the way, is said to include a camera and better graphics.

"We join the tablet market with a breakthrough device," says Jon Rubinstein, former Apple hardware whiz who is now at HP's Palm business unit.
