diy- I believe the reason that they stated min. 40 units is they already have orders for them. That's my personal opinion. Smaller agricultural companies ( like the one I work for). Won't purchase until bigger companies like Cargil and Tyson foods jump on board. Right now the main focus would be in food processing facilities. We did some salmonella testing in the field a couple of years ago and in the near future we could be doing it for good, depending on regulations. We would have our lab backed up with the extra work so a faster process would benefit greatly. With my degree and work in agriculture, I can see a great need for this, but we need patience. Nothing gets done quickly in this business.
