XM Radio update... This just in. The radio arrived yesterday & I didn't know it until almost dark.
But I went ahead and sort of threw it at the car, just hooked up the power and the antenna, tuned it to an unused FM station, and listened to it on the way to work this morning.
Listened to one song from the 70's channel, one from the 60's, and then here I was. Maybe I'll get to listen to more at lunch, figure out where I'm going to mount it, where to put the antenna, stuff like that. It has a remote I haven't even taken out of the package yet.
But the audio quality is superb & Elton John sounded like he was in the car with me. I'd have to say it is near-CD quality. Also I noticed it is very easy to tune between stations on the receiver, but the remote should make it even easier.
Maybe tonight I'll hook up the home station and listen to it in the house a bit.
