Midas: Top 5 issue.
What you did or what I did is possible to help people. However, the original question was whether we could all name 5 stocks that we would buy right now and do that within a short time frame and update it regularly. IMO, that is hopeless and that is putting it VERY mildly.
Even in your case, you didn't list 5. You listed 3 - one of which is MSFT! The other two are at lower prices than today's price. And, that is my point. There AREN'T 5 stocks that we all want to buy right now at today's price - and that doesn't even count the logistical issues with trying to keep it up to date.
Anyway, that's just my opinion.
I think the idea of people regularly posting stocks that they truly would buy soon, as I did (more or less), could be worth a lot. On the other hand, people posting stocks they already own isn't much different than listing their top-10 - which we already did.
