Eric - Correct, the lawyers are not lining up to sue MW. However, the reason why is not what you have put forward.

They are not lining up to sue because they feel it would be hard to collect significant damages, regardless of the merits of the case.

When these guys sue companies, particularly those that are still going concerns (as opposed to the absolute scams where the last management guy out turned off the lights), they know that there will be someone around to pay, and resources from which to pay. Many companies in fact settle without admitting guilt simply to avoid a protracted hassle. In one case I got a settlement check funded by an insurance policy I didn't even know the company had - there was no hit to the balance sheet at all.

In these cases the company was there as a visible, operating entity with a vested interest in staying that way. That is not the case with MW and its principals. They will prove to be a much more slippery target and the monies they received for publishing their piece will likely remain hard to get at.
