Yes, but as I pointed out "they" (MMs) don't control the stock. They don't even control the stock price. They simply control the trades in the stock.
DKAM controls the stock, in particular, how much is available. Buyers and sellers set the price (and since DKAM appears to be a frequent seller, or at least issuer of new shares, they have a strong influence on price as well). MMs then execute the trades in a way that makes the MMs a profit.
I'm glad to hear you flip the stock because it's the only way to avoid losing a lot of money on this one, IMHO.
