cristo, I think you can assume that the recent run-up in CCME was pushed up by a lot of those "weak" longs...aka momentum investors. A lot of the newbie posters on this board are enthusiastic traders, but are ill-equipped to deal with the vipers that we know inhabit this space. They were played....
Citron/Left knew that this was happening (hell, he was probably feeling the pain pretty acutely) and so the time was deemed right to release hit piece #1. Now that he's played that card, he's got at least one left and he's holding it back until the momentum shifts to the upside again and he's had a chance to re-accumulate more of a short position....
My guess is he and a lot of his followers covered their short positions soon after the first article came out. Hence, the stock is off the RegSHO list.
