Qaddafi doesnt control the oil as much as you think..There are many small committees and red tape to get through in Libya to do anything there. Does he and his family profit from the oil and so much more over there? I am sure they do as the article even says with their party ways. But also, he has re-invested alot of money into libya with their infrastructure, and employment, and other areas. He is one dictator that has given something back, besides reaping some rewards. Does this mean the people try and uprise? who knows, only time will tell.
