O.K., I'll make this even easier...you have a car/auto/vehicle - at some point you had given US currency or something equal to the dollar amount to receive ownership of same auto. This auto had/has provided you with (hopefully) many miles of pure driving enjoyment as well as some yet to be driven miles you wish to get from the 'product'. On the other hand, you have a stock which, unless you own a MAJORITY STAKE IN, has only traded and settled at lower lows, based on anticipated, 'can't-miss' news, AND you can't drive it to the prom? You sit and watch it wallow in sub-mediocrity and wonder what it will take to 'send it'...at that very point...you realize the difference between something that WILL get you where you need to be and one that won't...
