I agree! My daughter bought this at around .13 and was getting concerned when the price was going down. I told her that at her age, late 20s, this was a stock to look at in a year unless there is a buyout by a large corporation.
There are many complexities here and I believe that one of those reasons could be the ownership of the patent. A large company like DuPont would want the control of the patent and the ability to modify it to extend protection of their inventions. These are ticklish matters in negotiation and before someone places "big money" on the table you need these assurances. Although ND wants to hold on to this intellectual property, that does not mean that a negotiated "deal" is not attainable.
You must trust your original judgement and DD done at the time of your decision or will likely fall into the same habits of the flippers and short holders.
