Only that the concept is unique. Patents are granted simply based on the narrative and drawings. Not on any testing of the device.

Search USPTO and see how many time travel devices are patented. You think THOSE work???

patents are awarded for PHD thesis...that is what this is a glorifed PHD thesis..

sure... a patent doesn't need to work.. there are thousands of patents that don't work and are useless... the patent office doesn't test the patents and build devices, they grant them...
