OK--So I own a car,, or SNEY shares, that I am selling for $100 and all of a sudden hypeinflation hits---the dollar is devalued by the FED RESERVE ,,, let's say 50%

My car price and SNEY price of $100 does not ---NOT go to $50--

My car and shares have not changed in value --the value of the paper changed--

The car price is now $200 and my shares are also--

My fixed income retirement and bond portfolio just got "KILLIED"
