Of course, that is not a misspelling, that is a typo. There is a difference.

The standards for posting on a message board are QUITE different than the standards for a corporation's press releases.

Typing "bu" instead of "but" is a typo, not understanding "was" vs "were" (as Emax has done several times in public statements) is 5th grade grammar.
