Mergers and acquisitions
According to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), the global race to secure
resource assets has been ferce in 2010 with 1,324 deals totaling $104 billion
have been completed in the first six months alone.
With takeover battles
involving companies such as Potash Corp making the 2010 headlines,
analysts predict that such news will continue in 2011.

Two HDI afliated companies, Farallon Mining Ltd. and Continental Minerals
Corp., have been part of the latest round of acquisitions.
On November 15,
Farallon announced an all-cash ofer from Nyrstar NV to acquire 100% of the
company’s fully diluted common shares for C$0.80 per share (C$409 million
total), which was completed January 5, 2011. In September, Continental
announced it had reached an agreement to be acquired by Jinchuan Group
for C$432 million. The transaction is expected to complete February 2011.

Faith?! 2011 is looking so good for LBSR

For all HDI buy-out

The shares of the listed acquisitions have to be fully diluted on a FIFO basis. Please understand this crucial information.

Just note in the case of FARALLON, it was a direct conversion to Nyrstar shares. Nyrstar trades around 12ish Euro. Oh, FAN.TO trades around $0.80

Food for thought for LBSR, in my humble opinion. And how much CASH does HDI has? Check out the perspective on HDI's project 2008 vs. 2010(End of Year)
