as far as selling diamonds goes though, its been pointed out that an export licence is $40,000, so ours are sold into the local market.

No Charlie, that is not possible. The reason being is that John told me the Paramount Chiefs ask how many diamonds are being recovered. Since they get a % this is critical info to them. Selling those raw stones is vital to maintaining the cash flow into their respective villages so they can help their people.
