In general, once a deal has been struck by the CEO with a financier (MM), the CEO gets the cash and the MM gets the shares. At that point, the CEO/company has nothing to do with the shares,it becomes the MM dumping shares in the market for his cash plus his return. MM's are brutal for dumping start up shares at a discount fast and cheap so they can go on o the next one or short the first one to BK.
