They most certianity could begin work on it behind the scenes, but it would not make much sense to not publically announce it. Plus they would need to conduct a LOT more drilling to get the necessary data to complete such a report. They are probably a year or more away from hainvg the necessary info. In addition, these reports are sometimes written by independent consultants.
What they could do in the meantime is work on a 43-101 resource report, but they probably still need to do some drilling in order to complete it as the early drilling was prior to the implementation of the 43-101 standard. I honestly do not know if it is possible to use this data even if they could document that all the proper handling of asmples, QA/QC was done, etc during this time period. They may put together a report with the caveat that it was pre-43-101 (and why). It might be a simple fix by resampling the cores and using the proper standards; this is a LOT cheaper than re-drilling!
