I would have thought Pfizer's agreement with Watson would have delayed launch of the authorized generic until another generic actually launched. So this doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

These kinds of settlements generally guarantee the launch date for the authorized generic and specify that the AG can be launched sooner than the agreed date if another company launches its own generic sooner.
