While EP is a real company with real revenue it is not a company that newbie's or anyone else should invest in. The CEO got into bed with the scumbags at NIR, and that sealed the deal to screw the common shareholder. Dilution, dilution and more dilution that is what defines this company. In 2006 there were ~30MM shares in the O/S and now there are 5 billion. Besides dilution the debt keeps piling up. So far no indication of a turn-a-round and we will not know the facts until their next Q comes out. All the evidence you could ever want is in their filings, all the BS comes from Joe, IMO.
