I was talking to a local sportswriter today and he was telling me about the bracket contest he was in. He said his picks sucked, but that his wife was in first place. I told him that he was nuts to let his wife enter because... what if??? "You would never hear the end of it." He said not to worry because she only had one team left that could make the final 4, but had just enough points to lead thus far.

So, I told him about the contest I was in and how the guy running it BRILLIANTLY posted the results SO FAR and added the POTENTIAL results to best determine who was leading. He thought that was a fantastic idea and wondered why everyone didn't do it. I didn't say I had anything to do with it one way or the other. So, who knows? This may become the standard way of measuring who is leading in bracket contests all over the country.
