So far they're on predicting a 30% chance of snow showers on Wednesday. Have laptop will work from home if necessary. I don't do snowy/icy drives. Up here there are too many workingmen with giant four-wheel drive pickups or vans who love to ride your ass. Near wORk, too many south of the border types who came up here six months ago, learned to flush a toilet, and are now driving 2-ton vehicles with gay abandon. No thanks.
Besides which, I'm on a county road that has no shoulders with an immediate downhill drop toward the house and an uphill climb to the woods across the street. There is no place to put the car while I dig to the garage if I get caught in snow and if I make it up the curvy hills of west 80 and treacherous roads to the house.
Sorry I did not comment about the passport article. I saw the tag for it on Drudge as well and assumed the parent1 - parent2 thing is related to the susie has two mommies syndrome. Mother and father should be used for the straights. They can keep parent# for the alternate lifestyle set.
