"There is no place to hide" is true. Most of our families came to "hide in America" out of the corruption of the "old country" as grandma often said. Things are changing around my neck of the NW woods. We are building a spec home and the framer cannot find any help. The workers are on the extended unemployment free gift checks and will only work for cash under the table. The framer cannot hire them without having them insured so he is working alone most of the time. This makes the tax revenue even less and is making a welfare mentality out of people who at one time were real workers.Some trades people are cashing their checks and spending the funds including the state sales taxes. When we call for bids on the construction job we are often asked "you want the cash price or running it through the books" and those who do it correctly (legally) cannot compete with the cash companies and do not get any work. Well, it reminds my of the story in Exodus where they made the golden calf out of their gold earrings and danced around the idol and the Lord said "they have corrupted themselves". Our corruption in America started long ago and I do not see anything but further demise and new calfs being formed. j.m.o.>>P.C.
