Nobody can use the NOLs other than the same entity that incurred the loss.

Read the examiner's report. Hochberg lays out all the reasons why the billions of NOLs really aren't as great as equity thinks they are. Unfortunately I agree with him b/c I don't see WMI's reinsurance company making billions in profits any time soon.
