REEs were indeed important in 1998. I think if there had been any sign of them we would know from the assay. HOWEVER... as I have posted before, alongside the copper opportunity there is a very interesting gold opportunity at Cabot, which is what really excites Ken about the property...

"Did they also check for REE's at that time?...." I believe the Cabot is a very exciting Copper/ Gold Property. I believe also that there was a later second drill program done most likely further telling more about-us what is there. I believe that the drill cores could be sent off for ree testing but I doubt it. I also believe P&K ventures on the Cabot is related to the Prospector who was/is involved with the Twilite/just N. of the RR/and two lots on the Bonivista. And I also believe Kat as I have stated in the past, "Is no one trick Pony" Personally I feel it would be *NEAR SIGHTED* to concentrate solely on any one Kat Property, I am very excited about the Handcamp, "yes I said still" I am excited about the North Lucky property, I am excited about the S. Lucky property, I am extremely excited about the Rusty Ridge property, but also very excited about the Cabot because as we recently have learned it .......IS.......the furthest property along to becoming ....A RESOURCE..... My main point is that with Kat as soon as you FOCUS on any one property. Something comes along with one of the many others that can totally suprise you and catch you completely off guard. And we all know any time you throw a Kat up in the air.....It will always come down squarely on all 4's every single time.
