I believe that it is because several major indices have broken the line on log scale charts. It seems to be the predominant move in that it is leading the markets, COMPQ, NDX, NYA, RUI, SML,SPX, XAX.

If you look at tekprod's chart its linear. Change it to log and redraw the support line.

bliss, I use tradestation, and on weekly NDX chart (linear i.e. NOT log scale), NDX is shown as closing right at the TL on Thursday, but the low from Wed went below the TL (connecting Oct-02 and Aug-04 lows).
