I talked to Bill Morton today and he seemed pretty upbeat about the future of this company, they hold the land and are planning a total of 12 wells on the property over about the next year to 15 months

I am willing to hold my shares until this property is drilled out and put on line, it is unknown and has a seemingly solid future ahead of it.

turns out there are a couple of filings at pinksheets under the APLN ticker. The first filing I looked at was dated March 11, 2004 and pertained to Golden Opportunity (the company prior to April Energy). Here's what I picked up regarding the shares and ownership:

a/s 300MM (march 11, 2004)
o/s 45MM (march 11, 2004)
Float 15MM (march 11, 2004)

Ownership breakdown per the filing in march of 2004:

William Morton 9MM
William Strickel 4.5MM
Mike England 16.5 MM

Total 30MM

There was an Annual Report for 2004 made in April 2005, and the shares and ownership had stayed the same.

Now, I think that Joe Bartel entered the picture when it changed from Golden Opportunity to April Energy, but I am not 100% sure as I cannot find any filings or posts to prove it.

Now I just wonder if he still owns it now that it is AE Holding I.

One more thing I would like to note. Seems that the share structure from March 11, 2004 till Jan 5, 2011 did not change by very much in OTC terms.

That's a difference of about 7.75MM shares.

Will be very interesting to see where those shares went.
