Major Multi-Year Index Uptrends Still Intact:

Despite the failures on the interday charts, .CPC(Put/Call) and VIX/VXO turned the corner yesterday, if we are to believe that the major long term trends are to be preserved. Some of these are right on the line as of the close today:

Nasdaq, multi-year uptrend from 1108, October '02. (On the line)
S & P 500, multi-year uptrend from 788, March '03. (On the line)
Nasdaq 100, multi-year uptrend from 795, October '02. (On the line)
DOW, multi-year uptrend from 7416, March of '03.
