2. A PUBLIC company's manager's first priority is maximizing shareholder wealth. Then we invest more. Our well being is their well-being.

3. #2 does not apply in speculative stocks. They care about us, but not as much as doing what's best for business. Sometimes what is best for the business is not what's best for shareholders.
