I have followed this story for the past week or so--
read and watched cable.

1)NO, we are not killing anyone! People remove feeding tubes
every day. In fact, the Catholic Church(I am not Catholic),
states the feeding tube and or means BEYOND what is called a natural condition: are keeping her alive--
what did we do BEFORE FEEDING TUBES??? It was her wish! millions of people--I WORK IN THE HEALTH CARE FIELD--sign living wills.

2)The Florida Courts and 19 judges(even if it is 2 to 3 judges), and TOP NEUROLOGISTS--PER THE GUARDIAN APPOINTED BY THE COURT, indicate the client's brain is damaged--cortex area particularly, so there is no way she can improve her function.

3)NOW, I am a Christian, but GOD had a lot of years to perform the miracle.

4)Now, I have a living will and a durable power of attorney. Personally, I believe that a quality life is one in which the person has control--no need to feed tube.

5)The husband, per actual person to person interview with the guardian for the client, indicates he took EXCELLENT CARE and all the money went to medical bills and attorney fees.

6)This fight by the pro-life and Christian groups are PAYING FOR the legal fees by a mother and father that are emotionally blinded by their love of their daugher! As a Christian, I am saddened that these groups are so blinded and narrow-minded!
That is, I am sure the courts would have ruled in FAVOR OF THE CLIENT/CUSTOMER if there were merit here. WHO ARE WE TO JUDGE WITHOUT ALL THE DOCUMENTATION AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE HUSBAND's EFFORTS and MONIES TO PROVIDE CARE FOR HIS WIFE?????

7)I hope CONGRESS NEVER HAS TO INTERVENE IN YOUR LIFE!!!

EZ, had to get this in...will await another forum board for these issues.
