You are definitely right. Please don't forget that we are influenced strongly by the domestic market too and if the american govt. cares about a strength and growth of food market, an important part of economy, health of people should be the strategic plan for the U.S. Despite of living outside of the U.S., I have conservative opinion about imported food. I prefer to buy food products from a local market.
