#156348 RE: Virtual Drew #156333

There are many different views/opinions that can be garnered from different people reading the same text. Both views at this point are opinions, both views may contain a cretain amount of information that becomes reality in the future, but since more information is needed, both side of the point of view should remain open minded. When I read the latest blog concerning Robert Hicks it raised more questions than the article provided answers too, and even the answers it contained can be construed into different opinions. You see, the deeper you look, the obvious becomes not so obvious. Let's take your post on Robert Hicks for example:

Robert Hicks - Ex-Walgreen's Store Manager?

The article stated he has gained a number of years in store management experience in retail, including Walgreens. There are many levels of management within a large retail chain, and store manager is only one of them. They also have district managers, regional managers, buyers, ect... So to assume he was only a store manager may or may not be correct.

One needs to ask themselves where did WNBD meet this guy, and what is his importance to WNBD. Was he someone Steve knew and endorsed, was he met by Lorne or Steve at a retail management planning conference, was he a corporate buyer at a product show WNBD attended, or just met by some other means.

I believe until these questions can be answered the jury is still out on his importance to Winning Brands. So, unless you know more about Mr. Hicks than the CEO knows this next statement contains no merit at all.

Again, a perfect example of a CEO's incompetence! What does he think Mr. Hicks can do, that Mr. Fantus couldn't?
