Yeah, you're right. It is very hard to time the real estate market. I thought it had run up too much a couple years ago. On the bright side, we're financing the new home with an 80/20 mortgage which is a no-down payment deal; so I'll have the proceeds from the other house to invest.

I don't know about steering wheels melting, but anything that is metal in your car gets extremely hot in the summer out here. At times you literally need a cloth or something in your hand to turn the key in the ignition because that metal piece is so hot.

Sometimes mean people will crack an egg on your car's hood in the summer. If they see you coming, though, they'll beat it!
