Are you saying you got a Windows virus on your Mac that was running Virtual PC?

Or did you get an actual Mac OS X virus that altered your OS X account?

2b--once again, I am *not* saying that OS X is invulnerable, and I am *not* accusing you of spreading FUD, I was asking you to *clarify* what you're talking about.

There have been several claims of an OS X virus/trojan/whatever over the past year or so, all of which have proven to either be false or something else entirely, that's all. I'm sure that there *will* be a genuine OS X virus eventually, I'm just trying to determine whether the one you're talking about is it or not.

When you say it's a VPC file, do you mean that it's a Windows virus which attacks your copy of VPC? If so, again, that's still just a Windows virus, not a Mac one. If you're talking about a genuine OS X virus, what further info do you have? Have you reported it to Apple or the AV companies? Again, if this is the Real Deal, it would indeed be a fairly major story (at least in the IT world).
