I believe the market is open tomorrow. There is a special rule in place that the market will be open if the holiday is on Sat. and Fri. is the last day of the year or something like that.

2. New Year's Holiday
The exchanges will be open on Friday December 31, 2010 and Monday January 3, 2011 From Schwab.
