It's not a loss, unless you sell. With the potential coming up, I'm still buying, but you have to make a decision for yourself based on what you need to do, whether it's tax related or personal conviction.
You and only you can make that decision. I'm betting on the come because I have faith. If you don't, make the call and take the loss by selling. January will be quite a ride IMHO.
