#68576 RE: sricket #68574

sricket: I don't believe it IS good news - just more Putnamese ambiguous innuendo. The vast majority of these private communications turn out to be misinterpreted due to Putnam's masterful use of such innuendo and "forward looking statements." He is also known to state much more in verbal conversations which can't be proven than in e-mail communication.

If e.Digital has material new business, they are obligated to disclose that publicly so shareholders can make informed decisions.

One of problems of not announcing it is that it might selectively "leak" out. As most who have watched e.Digital know there have been times that they have been quite leaky and the stock moves in advance of news.

Therefore, it e.Digital has signed a an agreement that would result in material revenue, they must announce it. As with the 3 other contracts which came to fruition (Lanier, Softeq and the original APS digeplayer), they announced the agreements up front and what kind of revenue they would receive. In all 3 cases, they received both NRE fees and manufacturing oversight revenue.

In the absense of such an announcement, it must be assumed that no such agreement for the installed system exists at this time, at least not one that is "material."
