That video ad was clearly not footage from the garage sale from the blog being referenced. Yes, thread has different events, sone of which are swap meets as advertised on their site.
The event that saw one pair of JF Shoes sold was not a fashion show, you can see that from the photos. It's also a far cry from shoes being in high end stores by now as promised.
Thread is for indie designers who don't have contracts or volume buyers. Being there goes against what was stated in PRs, which is why you don't see any established labels or heavy promotion.
Don't make it out to be something it isn't, we all saw the blogger photos from that garage.
The shoes are not here yet, that's the biggest issue.
