You are right Simon about the poor value the market is giving Dutch shares. I've seen dollar/oz. estimates range from $10 to $60 for the proven reserves. What these estimates never take into account is investor confidence in the valued company and this is what is happening here. Investors are not confident enough to hold the stock and I know you can see this.
Management was not honest about the current dilution and issuance of shares when they needed to be. The fiasco over the OS count here was all it took for me to change the way I viewed this stock. Why buy and hold for the long term when management is going to dilute the hell out of your investment short term? Play the swings.
As for transparency, they can do all they want, but until the transfer agent is ungagged, everyone is going to think dilution. Until these things happen and investor confidence returns, any gains will be short lived.
