15 less stores to potentially sell Winning Colours?

I believe you are mistaken given the fact we aren't in Home Depot in the US at this time, but given the other garbage posted here I would assume you already knew that lol. Of course there are those who post things that may reflect a negative light whether they are truthful or not.

The 15 store closures will affect 1,300 workers, many of whom are expected to be offered posts at other locations. The stores to be closed are in Wisconsin, Ohio, New Jersey, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota and Vermont.

Good thing that WNBD is teamed up with Lowes USA versus Home Depot USA at the moment since Lowes is expanding according to your posted release. Doesn't mean we can't get into the remaining Home Depots also though.

2011 will answer a lot of the questions on where WNBD is going. IMO you will see a lot of people staying in WNBD if they perform well to ride the wave or a lot of people finally bailing (at the least reducing positions significantly) if they don't.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

That's pretty misleading imo

especially since this article was posted May 1, 2008

http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/retail/2008-05-01-home-depot-stores_N.htm

but given today is Thursday, maybe that was the intent to find an article that mentioned Thursday.

I found the 2007 reference in the context of the post interesting and figured it was 'very' dated information.

while one can talk about a retailer 2+ years ago, it's most relevant imo to be talking about what it did yesterday or today, or what it's plans are for the future.....
